The Heat Project will for the first time be attending and exhibiting at an exhibition aimed exclusively at those nearing or of retirement age this summer. Exhibiting at stand H14 of the Retirement Show held on the 18th-19th July in London Olympia Grand Hall, the Heat Project will be promoting its insulation scheme with a particular emphasis on the free loft and cavity wall insulation available to homeowners and private tenants in Britain who are over 70 or in receipt of benefits.

The Heat Project has been insulating homes in Britain for over 11 years through the allocation of grant assisted and free loft and cavity wall insulation. With all homeowners and private tenants eligible for a grant for insulation measures, saving money whilst saving the planet has never been easier.

The Retirement Show provides the Heat Project with a unique opportunity to communicate directly with a significant proportion of its target demographic. Due to the nature of the grants given out through the Heat Project for insulation measures, those who are over 70 or in receipt of certain qualifying benefits are entitled to loft and cavity wall insulation being installed in their property completely free of charge.

Government concerns about reducing the level of fuel poverty in Britain has led to utility companies being required to save the vulnerable fuel poor money through funding insulation measures as part of their Carbon Emissions Reduction Target (CERT) obligations. The Heat Project is able to market to and identify households that are in need of insulation and according to their circumstances utility companies will either part fund or fully finance the insulation measures required.
